We are a fintech start-up that scales rapidly in the Asia Pacific region, currently operating out of Singapore (HQ), Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, and Philippines.

We bringing together merchants, partners, and financial institutions in a single ecosystem – Catalyst Marketplace.

Catalyst Marketplace is an end-to-end intelligent platform that looks into automating rewards sourcing, distribution, and redemption. We partner with financial institutions to understand consumer spend behaviour while merchants use these insights to run intelligent promotions across bank and e-wallet channels.

Catalyst Marketplace creates a win-win proposition for merchants, financial institutions, and consumers. Merchants generate incremental revenue through targeted offers while these offers will fuel the loyalty programs run by our financial institution partners and consumers are rewarded by saving on every everyday purchases.

What are we looking for?

Merchants are the key to ensuring the success of Catalyst Marketplace.

Therefore, we are looking for a seasoned Merchant Sales & Acquisition Manager who are passionate and creative in selling to lead and build Pulse iD’s merchant portfolio in Australia.

You will be managing the end-to-end merchant acquisition activities which include actively hunt for new merchants, merchant onboarding and support, deepen merchant relationships, and grow merchant sales.

We are also looking for someone with a good blend of start-up and scale-up exposure.

You will be reporting to the Country Manager of Pulse iD and working closely with teammates in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, and India.

This is a hands-on builder role with a steep learning curve.

What do you need to have?

  • 3+ years' experience of working on merchant acquisition and business development relevant role
  • Experience selling technology products to merchants from F&B and retail industry is needed
  • Candidate with experience in managing merchant onboarding, training, and operational support will be an added advantage
  • Experience and willingness to work in a start-up environment is needed
  • Strong communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to work effectively with cross-functional and remote teams
  • BS degree in Marketing, Communication or other relevant areas
